We have an exciting opportunity for a **Learning Resource Centre Assistant**to join the team on a **full time (30 hours per week, 37 weeks per year) permanent basis**. In return,you will receive a competitive salary of **£18,905 - £23,737 pro rata depending on experience.**

We are a high-achieving college who attract around 2,800 sixth form students across the region each year. We are based within the stunning New Forest National Park and offer our students a huge range of courses and superb facilities.

**About the role**:
As the **Learning Resource Centre Assistant**you will assist in administrative and clerical duties associated with the Brock Hub.

You will supervise Brock Hub users to ensure a quiet, purposeful working atmosphere is maintained, ensuring the code of conduct is adhered to.

**Responsibilities as ourLearning Resource Centre Assistantwill include**:

- Communicating with stakeholders such as learners, parents, HOC’s etc.
- Attending Open and other college events as required
- Processing bursary payments for print credit/stationery through Wisepay
- Maintaining Brock Hub stock and environment to include shelving, filing, tidying, sequencing and book mending
- Cataloguing and accessioning new stock
- Maintaining, replenishing and checking the stationery shop to include a stock take towards the end of the summer term
- Assisting students with the development of effective study skills including research and referencing
- Instigating, creating and preparing Brock Hub publications and displays
- Liaising with HOCS, learners and parents on the use of long-term loan laptops
- Undertaking such other duties commensurate with the grade of the post that may be reasonably required

**As ourLearning Resource Centre Assistantyou’ll ideally have**:

- A Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- Experience dealing with members of the public
- Experience working in a customer service environment
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with individuals at all levels
- A commitment to take part in staff development and training
- The ability to work varying hours to accommodate the needs of the Brock Hub
