Security Officer

**About The Role**:

Due to one of our officers moving away from the area the opportunity has come about to join the well established security team, within the facilities family at this prestigious "centre of excellence" - **Toyota Head Office - Burgh Heath**.
- The position is initially as the "Weekend Day" officer, Saturday & Sunday 05:00 - 17:00, but there will, and are opportunities (once fully trained and comfortable in the position) for overtime and added weekday shifts as holiday cover and nights if you wanted.- Positions here do not come around often but you will be joining a team that has its own character and looks forward to welcoming you and strengthening your knowledge and experience within the Security / Facilities environment.- Full on site training and uniform will be provided, but a good level of I.T. and Microsoft teams knowledge would be advantageous.**Full driving licence is essential**

**What will you be doing?**
- Working as the Site Security Officer
- Create a secure environment, in which our customers, their employees, and visitors are able to feel safe
- Promote confidence with every customer, colleague, and stakeholder through effective decision-making, communication, and professional security standards
- Follow Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and customer policy
- Respond in an effective manner to incidents, alarms, and events, escalating to the Emergency Services, the Customer, and the Security Operations Centre, as appropriate
- Complete planned rota and shifts to provide security cover
- Utilise the relevant site security systems to detect risks and potential security breaches.
- Utilise TRACKTIK to complete patrols and reporting of incidents.
- Promote a culture of safety, awareness of H&S risks, and accident/ near miss reporting.
- Prevent unauthorised access to site, whether by a person, vehicle, or object.
- Respond to unplanned events or incidences promptly
- Work in collaboration with the customer’s FM team and complete relevant tasks
- Engage with training & development as required
- Be involved in vehicle moves within the building
- Load and unload car transporters (weekdays only)
- Be able to work well alone and as part of a team
