Our Rough Sleeper Team is a frontline service that provides a holistic service to support individuals sleeping rough. It is a fast-paced environment at the forefront of delivering services to the public daily across the County.

The Rough Sleeper Intensive Tenancy Sustainment Officer works with a smaller case load to deliver the principles of Housing Led in our self-contained units. Using a trauma-informed approach, you offer practical and compassionate support to ensure a safe and positive experience for clients. This role helps clients to sustain their accommodation by addressing benefits, health, finances, and personal goals. You'll also handle challenging behaviour sensitively, ensuring both individual needs and service safety are balanced. Your aim is to help clients overcome the challenges of modern living after experiencing life on the streets.

Seeking a proactive, client-centered individual with the ability to handle challenging clients and build partnerships. You should possess knowledge of welfare benefits, budgeting, and an understanding of issues faced by homeless or vulnerable individuals. Strong literacy, communication, organizational, and IT skills are expected for problem-solving.
