Lorfords Antiques are recruiting an warehouse/delivery driver to work full time (Monday to Friday) between their Tetbury showrooms and to perform deliveries across the UK. This is a varied job in a highly-regarded business, and a great opportunity to learn about antiques.
- **Physical strength and dexterity is essential**_ as the role involves the following; delivering high-end antique furniture around the UK, moving large items of stock in our showrooms and storage units (includes operating a forklift, for which we will provide training), supporting the sales team in stock movement, and general show space / storage organisation and maintenance. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and energy, who enjoys being part of a small and busy team.

**Successful applicants will have the following**:

- Manual dexterity and strength (for moving large pieces of furniture)
- Impeccable spoken and written English
- Friendly, polite and reliable
- Confident driver; including London
- Flexibility around working hours (longer days required for some deliveries)

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Contributing to the smooth and efficient flow and storage of goods.
- Supporting our team by moving large items of furniture.
- Delivering high-end antique furniture around the UK.
- Supporting our photographer by moving furniture for product and creative shoots.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

**Salary**: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
