Phlebotomist

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our busy phlebotomy team at New Cross Hospital.

Phlebotomy duties include taking blood samples from patients, labelling tubes, and the storing of samples for Pathology.

**There are 3 posts available**:
1x post will be hospital based covering inpatient wards

1x post will be hospital based covering outpatient areas

1x post will be working across GP Surgeries (floating post - temporary)

The post holder will be responsible to work as part of a team in the Phlebotomy Department. After training they will be required to carry out phlebotomy duties across the inpatient wards across the Trust. The phlebotomist will be expected to respond positively to the changing demands of the service.
