Customer Service Advisor - Sales and Distribution

Temporary Contract 1 year (maternity cover)

You’ll be working for Jewson, in Southport. Jewson is one of more than 30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK. We provide expert, straight-forward advice to the UK’s major infrastructure, housing, utilities and industrial/commercial development projects, coupled with unrivalled access to the world’s most innovative products.

**Requirements**:
What will I be doing in the role?

Our Internal Sales Assistant is one of our most important roles in the business. A great Sales Advisor will help keep our business running smoothly and continue to build and develop customer relationships and sales opportunities. To support the business, you will;
- Ensure customer orders and queries are processed and answered in a timely manner, whilst also advising of other available products
- Ensure that the branch is the best provider of customer service locally and nationally as defined by the Customer

This is a great opportunity to join a store within a rapidly growing team. Experience in the industry is not essential, as we have plenty of great training to build your product knowledge if you are willing to learn.
- A basic understanding/interest in the products and market
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Proactive, flexible and enthusiastic attitude
- Demonstrable customer service focus
- IT literate
- Able to create and maintain successful relationships
- Able to handle difficult situations and diffuse conflict
