Fuelius is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Software Tester Apprentice to join their growing team based in Chester.

**Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of**:

- Working with engineering team to test products as they are built.
- Working with engineering team to enhance testing process and set up test scripts for automated testing.
- Working with engineering team to perform regular base testing on products.
- Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.
- Executing tests on software usability.
- Analysing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
- Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing.

**Qualifications**:

- 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

**Skills Required**:

- 0 - 3 years of experience as a Software Tester or relevant role.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
- Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good organisational skills and detail-oriented mindset.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.

**Personal qualities**:

- Confidence.
- Strong motivation.
- Organised, good timekeeping, attention to detail.
- An ability and desire to learn new skills quickly.
- Genuine passion for technology.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 4 Software Tester, with training in how to:

- Ensure that the software used within your business operates as intended.
- Design and prepare test plans and conduct software testing as appropriate to ensure your software is fit for purpose.
- Collect and interpret the results of testing and make appropriate recommendations.
- Document and report test results.
- Store, manage and share test data in a secure manner.
