**Overview**:
We are seeking 2 dedicated Play Workers to join our team in providing engaging and stimulating activities for children. If you have a passion for working with children and creating a fun environment. If you're 16 years or older (have left school) and have a zest for fun-filled learning experiences, we want to hear from you

**Responsibilities**:

- Help organise and supervise play activities for children in a safe and supportive manner
- Encourage children to participate in various games and creative play
- Assist in setting up play areas and equipment
- Maintain a clean and tidy play environment
- Ensure the well-being and safety of all children under your care
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Implement and follow safeguarding policies and procedures

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with children in a play setting is desirable
- Ability to engage with children of different ages and backgrounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm when interacting with children
- Understanding of health and safety regulations related to working with children

**Locations**: Colchester and surrounds. Own transport preferred but not essential.

**Pay**: Hourly rates ranging from £8 - £16, based on age, experience and qualifications.

**Job Type**: Permenant during Term time, with opportunities for continued engagement during holiday periods.

Pay: £7.57-£11.42 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
