Edp Operator

We’re supporting our client, a leading Plastic Moulding Specialist based in Chesham, who are looking for a EDM Operator to join their growing team. The successful EDM Operator will have experience of EDM Operation utilising Sodick Machines.

**Responsibilities**:

- An EDM operator is predominantly involved in the manufacture of plastic injection mould tools but also Jigs, Fixtures and gauges utilising Sodick erode machines
- Work on own initiative and also within a CNC section team
- Setting of work, cutters and programming CNC Machines efficiently and effectively to producing finished work that is checked by yourself to time set deadlines.
- Must keep up with daily running and adhere to all Machine maintenance procedures.

**About You**:

- Industry experience required
- Sodick EDM Experience desirable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £17.00-£18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
