An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Psychologist to join our Community Paediatric Service, to work alongside a team consisting of Community Paediatricians, a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist, a Learning Disabilities Nurse and Clinic Assistants to develop our Autism pathway. The post holder must share our passion and commitment to work with children with suspected autism to improve their access to a timely assessment.
The post holder will be involved in the planning, implementation and feedback following a multidisciplinary neurodevelopmental assessment for children and young adults.
We pride ourselves on the quality of the service that we offer and place importance on supporting all our staff to deliver excellence. As well as a clinical caseload, the post holder will have the opportunity to become involved in-service planning and development, research, teaching and training. You will receive regular supervision and the service is committed to CPD. The post is based in Mid Essex, but the ability to travel independently between locations.
This post would suit someone with UK professional registration and at least 2 years post qualification experience, someone who loves working as part of a team and alongside multidisciplinary colleagues. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience of working with this service user group in any care setting, or someone who has transferable skills.
