**Despatch Coordinator**

Based at **Altham, **Lancashire

We currently have a great opportunity for a **Despatch Coordinator **to join our team and take responsibility for co-ordinating the goods picking, progress chasing and staging paperwork release to the despatch management team. This pivotal role links despatch operation with production and transport to ensure both efficiencies and service levels are met.

**The Role**:

- Correctly manage the picking of product and progress chasing of required product for loading.
- Pro-actively organise release of paperwork as part of responsible handover to despatch management team ready for onward cascade to the despatch team.
- Liaison with the loading supervisory team, and loading operatives, ensuring that they are aware of priorities.
- Continuous liaison with other sites on progress of their loadings and any concerns detailed.
- Cubing will also be a key part of the role linking with transport to ensure the most efficient fleet loading is carried out.
- Monitoring shortages, identifying root causes, recommending opportunities for improvement, and associated reporting.
- Link back into transport providing them with real time updates on shortages and updated manifest paperwork post loading.

**The Person**:

- Previous experience within a similar role within manufacturing.
- Good organisation and planning skills demonstrating good attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A polite, friendly and informative telephone manner.
- Good knowledge of Senator products and manufacturing processes.
- Experience working to tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills.
- IT proficient using Microsoft packages in particular excel.
