**Credit Controller**

**Job Title**:
Credit Controller

**Responsible To**:
Credit Control Team Leader

**Location / Area**:
Stafford Park 1, Telford, Shropshire - 20% minimum requirement for office attendance, with the flexibility to work from home

**Basic Salary**:
Competitive salary + 10% annual bonus based upon the achievement of agreed KPIs

**Principle Responsibilities**:
Building client relationships and fully understanding customer accounts and the reasons for any disputes

Post all cash receipts to accounts daily

Obtain copies of all debits deducted on accounts and work with Internal Customer Service Team for a suitable resolution

Check all credits raised on accounts and match to debits where possible

Send weekly update sheets to the Credit Control Management Team

Escalate any issues / concerns regarding accounts to the relevant member of External Sales Team and Credit Control Management Team

Send monthly statements to customers

Review customer credit limits with credit checking agencies and report any concerns to Credit Control Management Team

Minimum of 2 years’ credit control experience gained within a Manufacturing organisation

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Methodical and organised with the ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines

Self-confident with the self-motivation to get the job done

Flexible, can do attitude, with the ability to work effectively within a close team environment

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate at all levels

Excellent attention to detail

Computer literate - all Microsoft packages including Excel to “Expert” level

Previous experience of financial analysis would be beneficial

Previous experience of Epicor would also be beneficial
