Van Driver

DOORCO in Macclesfield is growing and we are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated van driver to join a busy team in Macclesfield.

Our induction and in-house training will support your transition to a new industry with lots of potential.

A day in the life of a DoorCo Delivery Van Driver will include working in a fast-paced family-owned company, facilitating the delivery of manufactured doors to trade customers, with customer service at the heart of our business.

Driving a 3.5t curtain sided van and working nationally with around 7-10 delivery sites per day, the role offers significant opportunity for development. We are looking for someone who is hard working, flexible and enjoys working closely with customers.

This great Delivery Driver opportunity will require:

- You to be the face of the business, interacting with customers daily. You must be well presented and have customer orientated skills
- You to be responsible for your load being safe and secure, including the completion of all relevant paperwork.
- You to be able to work on your own initiative
- You to be willing to work flexibly to achieve customer runs

The usual standard working hours are 06:00-15:00 with overtime often available.

In return you will need a valid driving license with no more than 3 penalty points, experience of driving delivery vehicles, a strong work ethic and excellent customer communication skills.
