**Job Description**:

- ** Location**: Birstall, Batley
- ** Salary**: Up to £33k per annum DoE
- ** Car Allowance**: £3,600 per annum
- ** Contract Type**: Permanent, Full Time
- ** Working Style**: Hybrid (2 days from home, 3 days in the office)

Are you an experienced HR Advisor or Partner looking to take the next step in your career? Do you enjoy working autonomously in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple cases? If so, you should consider joining our friendly People Team

In this exciting role you will be a trusted partner that provides high level People support across our entire business. You will lead People projects, initiatives and activity that contribute to the overall company performance and support our managers with all aspects of the employment cycle including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, TUPE and tribunals.

**Some of the key responsibilities include**:

- Being a trusted partner to the business, providing coaching and feedback to managers and colleagues.
- Supporting managers on most aspects of the employment life cycle including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, TUPE and employment tribunals to minimise business risk.
- Working to agreed KPI's such as absence management and colleague turnover; suggesting mechanisms to improve in these areas.
- Supporting the implementation of people strategies that directly support the achievement of People team KPI’s and the wider business KPIs.
- Partnering with managers to craft a learning culture, to develop future capabilities, talent management and succession planning.
- Guiding and influencing line managers to ensure fairness and consistency in decision making.
- Reviewing and, where necessary, updating people policies/procedures, ensuring that they are compliant with legislation and best practice and disseminated to all colleagues.
- Ensuring the company is kept up to date and informed of any upcoming relevant changes in legislation.
- Offering guidance and advice on any people or policy related matters to the colleagues of the company.
- Contributing and leading on a multitude of people activities to drive business performance and influence change across the business.
- Managing people related projects when required by the business.
- Working closely with the talent team on talent acquisition and mapping requirements for future resource capabilities in conjunction with new job evaluation software

**Qualifications**:
**Required Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience as an HR/People Manager or Advisor
- Minimum CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
- Excellent Employment law knowledge
- Experience or interest of working in a fast-paced environment
