Delivery Driver/installer

We are looking for a Driver to drive company vehicles, load/unload vehicles and undertake installation of furniture in line with relevant specifications and instruction by Installation Supervisor.

Key responsibilities include:

- Load vehicles in drop order and ensure all components, items are complete as per the picking list and delivery note. Any shortages or damaged goods to be reported to the Warehouse Manager.
- Ensure that loads are securely wrapped to prevent damage and tied off to ensure stability during transit.
- Check vehicle and load before departure to confirm it complies with required standards.
- Drive company vehicles in line with regulatory requirements including breaks and tacographs.
- Ensure that the following are complete and correct prior to embarking on installations:

- D&I file - paying particular attention to any special notes;
- Tool kit and spares kit - missing or damaged items to be reported to relevant manager and replenished where possible.
- Undertake effective installations ensuring compliance with SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) regulations
- Check access to delivery site;
- Make contact with the site contact to discuss/review plan for installation;
- Unload, distribute and install as per plans/delivery note/customer expectations;
- Record any damaged or outstanding items electronically, reporting to Quality/NCR team. Record any additional items required by customer.
- Ensure customer signs off completion note, including reference to DOA (damaged, outstanding, additional) items.
- Undertake regular checks of vehicles:

- Complete daily vehicle inspection sheet;
- Report any damage or maintenance issues immediately to Logistics Manager;
- Ensure vehicles are clean and tidy.
