**About Us**
The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are: Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’sPark, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.
We also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens. Our eight Royal Parks and other public spaces are among the most visited attractions in the UK with 77 million visits every year.
We are now looking for a Works Manager to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis, working 36 hours per week.

**The Role**
As a Works Manager, you will assist with the delivery of effective hard facilities management (FM) within the royal parks.
Supporting the Hard FM Contract, you will ensure maintenance activities are planned, co-ordinated and delivered safely, on time and to the agreed standard and that these provide value for money and are statutorily compliant.
You will also oversee the management and reporting of the budget and assist in the compilation and management of essential records.
Additionally, you will:

- Advise on repair and maintenance issues
- Prepare briefs and specifications for minor repairs and modifications for contractors
- Identify opportunities to improve services and facilities
**About You**
To be considered as a Works Manager, you will need:

- Experience raising works requests
- A technical understanding of building fabric, building services and electrical and mechanical maintenance
- An understanding and awareness of Health & Safety legislation
- A full, valid driving licence
