Logisitics Manager

**Location**: North London

**Salary**: £42,000 - £48,000

**Summary**:
Our client are a bespoke furniture design and fabrication company who are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to take responsibility for the dispatch and installation of completed orders in full and on time. You will manage a small Art handlingand logistics team undertaking the packing and installations of these limited edition and high value pieces.

Key Responsibilities:

- Negotiate shipping or installation quotations worldwide for air sea and road as well as across UK
- Implement best practice transportation methods for delicate and high value items
- Book carriers and shippers, arranging site visits and track deliveries
- Ensure all items are correctly dispatched with relevant paperwork including shipping certification
- Stock and storage management

Key Skills/Experience:

- Negotiating and problem solving skills
- Experience of managing a team
- Proven experience in logistics management and worldwide supply chain management
- Knowledge of industry laws and regulations
- Able to resolve complaints regarding deliveries
- Qualification in Logistics, supply chain management or business management preferred.
