**Warehouse Operative - Job Description**

PICS is looking for someone to join their warehouse team. If interested you will be working in a group, responsible for helping to accomplish the company’s daily objectives and goals. You will be responsible for assisting and executing numerous warehouse tasks, including goods receipt and inventory control through to order pick, pack, and dispatch.

**Hours: Monday to Friday 0800 - 1700**

**The Role**
Working as part of a larger team to ensure the overall success you will participate in our warehouse operations and activities.
Your responsibilities will include handling and storing telecoms equipment, picking, packing, and scanning orders and maintaining the working area in line with the 5S initiative.
**You**
Ideally you will have a background in a warehouse environment, good understanding of Health & Safety and a general awareness of operational procedures.
A proven track record of high attention to detail, whether through work experience or studying, and good communication skills is an advantage. You also should be physically fit and comfortable with manual lifting.

**General**

Warehouse Operative’s day-to-day duties will vary based on the expectations of the business and tasks assigned. However, core tasks associated with the role include, but are not limited to.

1) Preparing and packing orders for dispatch, booking shipments using courier systems.

2) Receive and process warehouse stock products.

3) Perform inventory controls and keep quality standard high for audits.

5) Adhere to company Health and Safety rules and warehouse procedures.

6) Report any discrepancies.

7) Load and unload vehicles when required.

8) Supporting colleagues in achieving daily objectives.
