Church Cleaner

**Job Title**: Cleaner (4 hours per week)

**Job Overview**:
Cleaner for the main church (not adjoining halls) with interesting variety of tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Mop and vacuum the main body of the church.
- Dust and polish all woodwork.
- Vacuum or wipe window ledges.
- Remove all cobwebs and dust in corners of the church and around windows, etc.
- Vacuum and polish in the Vestry.
- Tidy up the shelves, play area and craft table.
- Wipe over chairs, lecterns and small tables.
- Clean the vestry toilet and small kitchen area (not every week).
- Flexibility to help clean other areas of the building on occasion.

**Experience**:

- Professional cleaning experience desirable, but not essential.
- Local to church preferred, but not essential - transport to and from church required.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work around a busy church and parish centre.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.72 per hour
