Security Officer

The position requires you to have a high level of self-presentation, physical fitness & communication skills are essential along with a positive/helpful attitude. As a Security Officer, you will be working in an important facility that handles customs anddocument checks. This is part of a secure area and so a certain standard is needed for this site. For this role, you will be required to work as part of the security team, ensuring the welfare of staff and visitors and monitoring the day to day running ofsite. You will need to aid and support the staff to ensure that any incidents are dealt with and resolved with mínimal issues and to ensure that residents, visitors, colleagues, and the fabric of the premises are kept safe and secure. Please note this roleis predominantly outside, and so you must be willing to work in all weather conditions.

**Job Role**: Security Officer

**Shift pattern**: 4 on 4 off (days and nights) 12-hour shift

**Rates**: 10.10 per hour

**Location**: CT12 5BS

**Total hours per week**: 48 hours per week - overtime is always available

**Role requirements**:

- SIA License Holder
- Communication must be to the highest standards
- Customer focus must be to the highest standards
- 5-years of checkable work history
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
