Electronics Service Engineer (Clinical Technologist)

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic engineer to join our Electromedical Engineering Team in Medical Equipment Management Service (MEMS), providing technical equipment support to clinical teams.

Based at the Royal United Hospital the successful applicant will be expected to work in the RUH with some travel in the local area to carry out work at other Healthcare providers using hospital vehicle provided, therefore a current driving licence is essential.

Duties include completing planned maintenance, repair, calibration, and testing of a wide range of medical equipment. You will be expected to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.

With a starting quota of 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays and access to the NHS pension scheme with employer contribution this is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to join the biomedical engineering sector.

Duties include being responsible for the planned maintenance and repair of medical equipment including carrying out inspections and electrical safety tests. You will be expected to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. You will be expected to drive the department vehicle therefore a current driving licence is essential.
