Warehouse Team Leader

Heysham, Lancaster

Salary £31K

We are looking for a new warehouse team leader to join our busy team in Heysham. You will be an experienced hands-on warehouse supervisor looking for their next career opportunity. This is a rare opportunity to join a long standing team of 20 people and support the companies management in a very varied and busy warehouse role.

**Job role**
- **Day to day warehouse ( goods in and out)**:

- **Picking and packing**:

- **Using an FLT for loading and unloading ( training given)**:

- **Give operatives allocation of duties when the Manager is away**:

- **Designate work as necessary**:

- **Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm ( early finish on a Friday 4.30pm)**

**Experience/skills required**
- **Good understanding of warehouse processes and procedures**:

- **Experience with safe systems of warehousing**:

- **Previous experience leading a small team**:

- **Confidence to instruct others when required in the warehouse**:

- **Ability to dive the FLT when required**:

- **Ability to work 'Out of hours' when needed ( extra payments)**:

- **Driving licence as a small van supplied when needed**

**You will need to live close to Lancaster/Heysham so if you are required on Out of Hours you will be able to get to work in a timely manner. Occasional evening and weekend work is paid at an overtime rate and there is a bonus for being on call. If you have any experience with Toolbox talk this would be very useful.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £31,000.00 per year
