Time Recruitment Solutions are currently assist a well established and long standing business based in Denton. My client are experts in supplying a wide range of specialised products and services to Europe, Middle East, Latin America, Far East and withinthe UK.
Now due to continued growth they are currently looking for skilled and experienced auto Electricians to join the team.
On new machines you will be working from drawings produced by the engineering team so the ability to read electrical schematic drawings is required.
The repair of older machines may require you to produce simple notation to document the system.
Basic Duties
- Working in a manufacturing environment which includes the wiring of control panels using electrical schematics.
- Electrical wiring of partly completed and complete truck mounted machines.
- Working on your own initiative to complete the wiring to be neat and tidy with cable markings as specified on the drawing.
- You would be expected to be proficient in the use of electrical instrumentation i.e. multi-meter.
- You would be expected to be proficient in the use of soldering procedures.
- You would be expected to be proficient in the use of; measuring equipment i.e. steel rule, tape measure.
- The manufacturing process will include the fitting of control enclosures and micro/proximity-switches. You need therefore to be proficient in the use of battery powered tools to drill and tap the fixings.
- You would be expected to have and be prepared to use basic tools of the trade, i.e. spanners and hand tools.
- Liaise with the engineering team to refine designs.
- Monitor consumable use and notify of shortages.
Further duties (not all specified) which may be required by the management
- Our machines are sent to the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and the Far East.
- With consultation with the management you may be expected to travel.
- Familiar with test instruments and to read circuit diagrams to find electrical faults.
- To speak, read and write the English language.
Basic Hours
Monday - Thursday
7.15am - 12.30pm; 1.00pm - 4.00pm (8.25 hours) Breakfast Break; 10.00am - 10.15am (Paid) Lunch Break; 12.30am - 1.00pm (un-paid) Afternoon Break; 3.00pm - 3.15pm (Paid)

Friday
7.15am - 1.00pm (6 hours) Breakfast Break; 10.00am - 10.15am (Paid)
Basic Week 39 Hours
Overtime when available will be paid at
1.33x Basic for extra hours Monday - Thursday 1.5x Basic for extra hours Friday and Saturday 2.00x Basic for extra hours on a Sunday
Holiday:
8 Statutory Days, plus annual entitlement of 20 days*
