Timorous Beasties is a têxtile design studio based in Anniesland in Glasgow’s West End. We require a Sample Room Librarian to manage our extensive library of wallpaper and fabric samples. The successful applicant will be a highly organised administrator with meticulous attention to detail.
- Maintain stock levels of samples for immediate despatch to website customers
- Liaise with our branded showrooms and worldwide representatives to ensure they have all necessary sample materials
- Order fabrics and wallpapers from manufacturers and our in-house print room then prepare and catalogue sample stock
- Record and track sample stock using Sage software. Training will be given
- Create files for the manufacture of digital wallpaper samples using Photoshop. Experience preferred, but training can be provided
- Liaise effectively with various departments: design team, showrooms, warehouse, accounts, print room etc.
- Oversee the daily tasks of our two Studio Assistants
- Maintain a tidy and organised working environment

- GLASGOW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience (preferred)
