Delivery Driver

The Delivery Driver is responsible for loading, unloading and delivering items to the correct customer location within an assigned route. The delivery driver will operate the delivery vehicle in accordance with company policies, procedures and laws in a safe and compliant manner while maintaining the integrity of our brand image.

**Duties**:

- Performs pre-trip inspection of vehicle
- Operates vehicle in accordance with company policies, procedures and laws in all states, in all cities, in all countries
- Communicates with Customer via phone regarding the status of the order or its completion and provides updates as necessary
- Complete all paperwork as required for deliveries
- Perform other duties as assigned

We are looking for a keen, well mannered person to join our Family business. We are an Agricultural/ Equestrian Pet Food & Supplies shop which offers local delivery of feed and timber & roofing supplies. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved with this job.

The individual needs to have a Full Clean driving License and be over the age of 21 with 2 years driving experience, They need to have good customer service, be able to navigate between drops. Ideally looking for someone physically fit & strong as the vehicles are offloaded by hand. The individual needs to be keen to learn the products to be able to load, drive & unload orders correctly.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 18 per week

**Salary**: From £10.50 per hour

**Experience**:

- Delivery driver experience: 2 years (preferred)
- Driving: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
