We are looking to recruit a teaching assistant for three afternoons per week during term time, who also can support in a HLTA capacity the two additional afternoons per week. The role will also include supporting play and behaviour during lunch times.

Some of the main duties will be:

- To work under the direction and guidance of the class teacher and SENCo to support children with identified needs in their educational and social / behavioural development.
- This work may involve working with individuals, a small group of children or the whole class.
- To work on the advice of outside agencies e.g. occupational therapists.
- To support and interact with pupils within the learning environments to enhance both their personal and academic development
- To provide PPA cover for key year groups
