**Dog Groomer needed for £10 - £12 an hour depending on experience in a friendly and fun team**

**DOGHOUSE **is a unique concept, we're a grooming salon, pet shop and café in one, designed as a haven for dogs and dog lovers to come together over a great cup of coffee while their dog gets pampered. We want owners and their dogs to feel at home when they stop by so friendliness and great communication is a must when working for us.

DOGHOUSE is independent, female owned and we truly care about each other as a team, which really shines through in the way we do things. We allow our groomers to really take time to get to know the dog and their owner, and develop relationships which is sadly often not the case in bigger companies. We truly care about building good customer relationships, as we believe this benefits everybody involved.

Each groomer grooms on average around 3/4 dogs a day, so you can work at a pace that works for you, without the need to rush the dog out the door and onto the next.

**We are offering up to £12 an hour for qualified groomers - one of the highest salaries in the area for this role.**

- Have experience working in a busy grooming environment.
- Can confidently and compassionately manage dogs and their owners.
- Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Are passionate about dogs and committed to their welfare.
- Have a City & Guilds Level 3 dog grooming qualification **and/or **similar relevant experience/qualifications
- Be able to provide friendly and outstanding customer service.
- Keep detailed grooming records.
- Maintain a high level of presentation in the salon.
- Manage the salon booking diary efficiently.
