This is an established charity that provides a range of specialist abuse support services to women, men and children across the West Midlands area through a trauma informed approach.
The Community Domestic Abuse Support Service is a specialist service supporting victims of domestic violence and abuse. The service covers the Sandwell, Dudley & Walsall areas through a range of contracted/commissioning arrangements. This company have developeda service that responds to victims in a variety of locations across the Black Country with some of the specialist support delivered in partner locations.
**Your new role**
The role of the Team Leader is the bridge between management and operational staff that can provide day to day advice and guidance on cases with the issues as they arise. Therefore, this role enables the manager to focus on the more strategic matters relatingto meeting the contract targets, contract compliance and staff development including supervisions.
The position will oversee the submissions to all MARAC's across the region, research and analysis, preparing the operations staff to improve their presentation and input, along with lead on links with court to ensure that appropriate court proceedings takeplace. The person will also lead on ensuring necessary safeguards are in place and actioned.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in being considered for this role, you will have experience of team leading in specialist services such as Domestic Violence, experience of working within a supportive setting for vulnerable people with providing direct support to clients andteam members. You will have experience of building good working relationships with team members and senior management.

This is a great permanent opportunity paying up to £30,187 per annum dependent on experience. This is a brand new position that has been identified due to a need for a conduit between management and operational staff and therefore you will have a great opportunityto build great rapport with colleagues as well lead the direction of providing the best possible outcomes for the vulnerable client groups serviced.
