**Job Specification for Trainee Fabricator**

**Main Duties**

**You will start by learning one of following stage of fabrication at a time**:

- Gasketing
- Crimping frames
- Fitting locks and hinges to frames
- Making fixing brackets
- Cleaning and wrapping products ready for dispatch
- Loading windows onto lorries
- Taping profiles ready for fabrication
- Keeping work areas tidy
- Moving materials into the Store

**You will have the opportunity to progress and learn new skills such as**:

- Cutting and machining frames
- Learning to fabricate a range of windows, doors and curtain walling
- Making louvres
- Cutting and finishing ancillary profiles
- Fitting add on profiles to windows and doors
- Adding EPDM (waterproofing rubber) to frames

You must be over 18 year old for insurance purposes. Successful applicants will need to show a copy of a passport or full birth certificate and 2 other forms of ID (details can be given on request).
