Finance Officer

The Car Park People Park Stay are seeking a part time, experienced Finance Officer to work 20 to 25 hours per week across 4 to 5 days at our offices in Lymm. You must be experienced in using Xero and able to report on and produce information as detailed below:
- Full management of Xero - reports, generating invoices and bills and reconciling across two main accounts
- Generating/checking weekly invoices for clients
- Generating monthly sales invoices for land rentals, maintaining data sheet, dealing with debtors
- Weekly reports on banking, debits and credits and Xero reports for the Managing Director, as required
- Reporting of budgets and actuals for CPP Group of Companies for the General Manager and Managing Director
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Responsibility for company bank accounts, payments and transfers.
- Preparation and payment of weekly wages and monthly salaries (payroll is managed by the company accountants)
- Knowledge and understanding of Stripe payments and invoices
- Overseeing financials alongside General Manager
- General finance admin and filing
- Assisting the Office Manager as required
Essential Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and general accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
