The co-founder of Wedo (Jack Cole) has been desperate to work with this business and after 4 years, we now can exclusively represent one of the world’s fastest-growing OTT companies that stream over 600 million hours of content and are HUGE in the UK andEurope. Our client is now looking to hire a Principal SDET who can sit holistically across 30 teams where you operate as an individual contributor in a leadership position and be responsible for fostering strong relationships with Engineering Leads, cultivatingquality as a culture, and helping push their shift left, shift right approach to engineering.

The successful Principal SDET will have the following experience:

- Operating holistically across multiple teams where you influence quality
- A solid communicator who can bridge the fragmentations in communication across the test pyramid and SDLC
- Has experience in defining and implementing test strategies and frameworks across multiple teams of test environments
- Has a natural ability when coaching engineers on quality and can get engineers and SDET’s to execute your strategy
- Has a solid understanding of CI/CD and believes the faster you can test and deploy the better
- Can closely work with teams to identify quality metrics
- Can write code in any language although TypeScript or JavaScript would be preferred
- Automation experience with any of these Cypress, Playwright, Webdriver.io, Puppeteer, Storybook
- Experience working on AWS
- Knowledge or commercial experience of contract testing, ideally with PACT

Please note this is a remote-first role with some expectations to go to their London office for design sessions and social events on a adhoc basis.
