**Maintenance Operative**

**Haughgate House, Woodbridge**

**£11 per hour**

**36 hours per week**

Healthcare Homes are recruiting for a full-time Maintenance Operative to join our team at Haughgate House in Woodbridge.

The quality and appearance of our care homes create the first impression for visitors and are a source of enjoyment and immense pleasure for our residents and their families. Our Maintenance Teams take huge pride in maintaining our buildings to the highest possible standards.

Overseeing the upkeep of our home including painting, decorating, repairs and basic plumbing and electrical work you will play a key role in always keeping our residents safe and comfortable.

Previous experience within gardening, decorating and basic plumbing and electrical work is required for this role

Arranged over two floors, our 42 bedrooms can be personalised to make them a real home-from-home, and residents are able to enjoy a selection of lounges, dining rooms and well-kept gardens for relaxing, socialising and entertaining.

**About Haughgate House**:
Haughgate House is a stunning 1920’s built home that was converted into a nursing home in the 1980’s. Having undergone a major refurbishment, Haughgate now has 12 extra bedrooms, a new Kitchen and two new communal rooms.
