- 37 Hours per week
- Band 3-4 (depending on experience)
- Eastleigh Borough Council is an ambitious and progressive council. We are recognised for our innovation and achievements, whilst delivering high quality service to our customers and the community. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Operational Trainee to join the Street Services Team at Hedge End Depot.
- The Operational Trainee will work within the Street Services team which covers Waste & Recycling and Street Cleansing. The team plan, direct and co-ordinate these services which are delivered across the entire Borough.
- We are seeking an individual who is adaptable and flexible with excellent interpersonal skills. As well as an enthusiasm to learn the technical and practical skills which are required to become a service manager in the future.
- To be successful you will have a minimum 1 years’ experience of a practical nature in an operational service delivery role or a frontline customer service role. You will be comfortable in a dynamic, customer focused working environment and calm under pressure.
- The postholder will be required to attend training and obtain formal qualifications in one or more of the above disciplines, in addition to formal training they will work within both teams to achieve practical experience.
