The East of England Ambulance Trust has a vacancy for the position of Educational Specialist to join us in an emergent role within the Culture, Strategy & Education Directorate. This is an exciting time to join the Trust, as we are now moving towards a holistic education and development methodology for our existing staff and future workforce. The role will provide comprehensive and effective educational expertise and information technology experience to support delivery of a bespoke digital education management system - from conception, through to construction, implementation and ultimately embedding. Please note, the vacancy is a 9-month fixed-term position. There are elements of remote home-working with regional coverage across the East of England / East Anglia.

They will be the key source of educational expertise to support a project team in designing and deploying data-based and technically enabled solutions against tight timelines under close stakeholder and regulatory scrutiny. The post holder will need to be fully committed to delivering excellence and improving service delivery with a meticulous attention to detail. This will require the ability to work proactively and independently as well as part of a team, plus be held accountable at project and Directorate Boards regarding assurance and progress metrics. The role will be afforded comprehensive support in relation to understanding specific higher education, clinical practice, and professional pathway matters relevant to the Trust’s landscape.

As detailed in the JD and PS, this role will require some travel, autonomy, and close liaison with partners across the Trust in support of the greater organisational objectives.
