Plastic Surgery Coordinator

The post holder is the designated lead scheduler for the inpatient, trauma, day case and cancer service and link with both external trusts and internal services to ensure patients are booked and scheduled in a timely manner. This post further provides essential support to Outpatients colleagues to support with non admitted capacity issues and booking advice.
To provide a comprehensive and efficient booking service for all Plastic Surgery patients awaiting elective treatment on the Inpatient, Day-case, and Planned Waiting Lists.
Act as the first point of contact for the Plastic Surgery Admissions team
Assist with management of RTT, Cancer and Planned pathways doe Plastic Surgery Patients.
Assist with daily monitoring of access targets and escalate breaches of waiting time targets
Assist the management team with delivery of outpatient and inpatient access targets for the service.
Liaise with the Cerner team to update and/pr request clinic templates as required.
Responsible for theatre session management and theatre list booking in line with the Trusts 6:4:2 policy.
Act as the point of contact for the coordination of Plastic Surgery treatment for patients referred for external service and Trusts.
Management of PPwT and IFR submission process for the Service.
To work with Consultants in order to help manage their waiting lists to ensure it is clean and without historic information
