**About the Job**

The Student Success Progression Advisor is responsible for supporting students’ study progression and ensuring student retention from the commencement in their online program through to completion, by promoting continuous study to achieve graduation in a timely manner.

With a strong retention and student success mindset, the Student Success Progression Advisor takes ownership students across a portfolio of programs and build trusted relationships. This role is highly proactive with monitoring students’ study progression, understanding students’ individual needs and concerns, offer students with advice, tools, services, and act as a coach to support continuous study and graduation planning. The Student Success Progression Advisor also encourages any further study opportunities for students, such as award upgrade.

Student Success Progression Advisor works closely with the Student Success Information team to ensure students receive high-quality and timely administrative processing and information about their program and online learning experience.

**To be successful, you will have the following skills and experience**

**Mandatory**
- Experience in customer services/ account management/ call centre environments where retention is the key performance indicator. Experience with customer/ student centric processes and support levels
- Experience building relationships with customers and/or students, and internal stakeholders, through excellent communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and IT systems
- Effective team player who is keen to drive their own success and the success of the students
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with people from a diverse range of cultural, educational, and professional backgrounds

**Preferable**
- Higher Education experience and/or knowledge of the Australian education sector
- Proven experience achieving in a sale as a service role
- Experience in Salesforce CRM
