Balloo Hire Centres is a leading provider of tool, plant and welfare equipment for businesses and DIY needs in Northern Ireland. Balloo Hire Centres is part of The Briggs Equipment Group and therefore can offer a local solution with corporate level support.
Due to expansion at our newest depot in Nutts Corner, we have a number of new opportunities supporting our Welfare and Events team. If you are hard working with a positive attitude and want to work in a fun, fast paced environment we would like to hear from you. **In this role you will be**:
- Testing and checking the cables within the Power Division.
- Supporting Engineers with maintenance and servicing power generators
- Keeping workshop jobs up to date and servicing schedule maintained.
- Keeping stores/workshop tidy
- Assisting in the loading/unloading of equipment onto Balloo Hire vehicles ensuring safe working practices are adhered to and keeping yard traffic moving.
**What will help you to excel in this role**:
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to plan your workload and meet time deadlines.
- Working effectively as part of a team and on your own.
- Experience carrying out PAT Testing (desirable not essential)
- Forklift truck license (desirable not essential)
