CARETAKER/CLEANER COMBINED ROLE

CARETAKER Grade 04 8.5hrs per week - £ 10.97- £11.18 Per hour

CLEANER Grade 02 8.75hrs per week - £10.60 Per hour

TERM TIME ONLY WITH NO TERM TIME LEAVE

INCLUDING TRAINING DAYS PLUS ONE WEEK OF WORK IN THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS

Our friendly and happy school is looking to fulfil the key role of Caretaker / Cleaner. The person appointed will be responsible for keeping our school secure, possess the ability to undertake minor maintenance repairs, check and maintain operational systems, carry out safety checks as required and ensure adequate records are maintained. As the main key holder, the person will also be responsible for daily unlocking and locking of the school. The successful applicant will organise the cleaning of the school interior to a high standard of cleanliness, having responsibility for specific areas working with the other cleaner. They will ensure the efficient removal of waste from the building and the grounds, including recycling, and ensure that the outdoors are kept clear of weeds, litter and debris.

The person will attend the building as necessary outside of normal working hours in cases of alarm activation or other emergency and be available for additional hours during some school holidays for cleaning and maintenance. We are looking for a friendly and flexible person to join our school, who is able to use initiative in caring for our building and school site, joining our dedicated and hardworking team.
