We are looking to attract a **Junior Application Consultant **toplay a crucial role in helping the organisation and their customers implement the bespoke products and services in a timely and cost-effective manner.

This is a hybrid role with occasional visits to offices in Edgbaston, Birmingham.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
You will, after a suitable period of time, be expected to implement projects in-line with our implementation method and depending on the requirements of our customers you would be expected to work on one or multiple projects at any time.

**Other Duties and Responsibilities Include**:

- Work with the Project Manager to achieve project objectives, project milestones and acceptance criteria and ensure that these are achieved within timescale and budget relevant to each project.
- Work with customers from start-to-finish on projects, having knowledge of our project methodology and being able to help guide the customer through each stage.
- Within 6 - 12 months, undertake scoping and requirements gathering, producing high quality documentation outlining system requirements and documenting system functionality.
- Provide customer training as necessary, either through knowledge transfer or formal training delivery.
- Working closely with our customers, the Junior Application Consultant will be undertaking customer facing activities (directly or remotely, dependent on the needs of the project and the customer) approximately 80% of the working week.
- Display a knowledge of our modules, commensurate with experience and role, together with relevant business practices.
- Ensure that all administrative activities are completed within the published timescales.
- Work as a cohesive team with other colleagues involved in the project and ensure appropriate project personnel and management are made aware of the current project status and any potential issues.
- From time to time undertake any other duties as reasonably required.
- Adherence to corporate policies and procedures as appropriate.

- Excellent customer facing skills
- Excellent presentation and networking skills with the ability to deal effectively with a range of audiences and stakeholders
- Good team player - to be able to work with colleagues to achieve common targets and objectives
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated and resilient
- Adaptable and works well under pressure
- Good analytical skills - to be able to break down a problem, situation, or process into its component parts
- Excellent quantitative data analysis skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented, thorough and focused on all aspects of the job to ensure accuracy.
- Understands the importance of quality and able to execute accordingly
- Well organised, schedules time effectively and uses efficient work methods and tools
- Computer skills: MS Office, Databases
- Ability to create technical batch scripts advantageous.
- A valid current driving licence and access to a car.

**Desired Skills**:
At least, one of these is a necessity, others would be beneficial.
- Strong mathematical background (degree level).
- Knowledge of Supply Chain processes and operations.
- Excellent understanding, knowledge and experience of software configuration, implementation covering design, build, data migration and business intelligence/reporting.
- Previous experience of implementing software in a business-to-business environment.

**Reports to**: Director of Professional Services

**Location**: Birmingham based and travel to our Birmingham office is expected at least one day per week, the rest of the week can be home-based. However, this role is customer facing and could require frequent travel to our customer sites which could necessitate overnight stays away from home.

**Salary**: £29,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
