**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
**Machine Setup**:

- Set up and configure cold roll forming machines according to product specifications and production requirements.
- Ensure proper alignment, positioning, and calibration of the machine components.

**Material Loading**:

- Load raw materials (metal coils) onto the roll forming machine.
- Monitor material feed and make adjustments as necessary to maintain consistent production.

**Tooling and Die Changes**:

- Install, adjust, and change tooling and dies as needed for different production runs.
- Perform routine maintenance on tooling to ensure optimal performance.

**Quality Control**:

- Conduct regular quality checks on formed products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Make adjustments to the machine settings to address any quality issues.

**Troubleshooting**:

- Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions and production issues.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel to address mechanical or electrical problems.

**Production Monitoring**:

- Monitor machine output and production rates to ensure efficiency and meet production targets.
- Record production data and maintain accurate logs of machine settings.

**Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Comply with company policies and procedures related to machine operation and production.

**Requirements**:
**Experience**:
Proven experience as a Cold Roll Forming Setter or similar role in a manufacturing setting.

Familiarity with different types of metals, machines and their properties.

**Skills**:
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Attention to detail and precision in machine setup and operation.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

**Communication**:
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey information about machine status and production issues.

**Physical Requirements**:
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials.

Comfortable working in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.

**Salary**: £20ph

**Location**: Swadlincote (Willing to pay for travel expenses for the right person)

**Hours**: 45hrs per week between 6am-5pm. Early finish Friday plus overtime if required
