The Private Wealth Management Marketing team within Marketing & Communications is seeking a member for its Field Marketing Consulting team. The Field Marketing Consultants have a mission to help our Markets, Branches and Financial Advisor Practices grow in revenue using effective marketing strategies. This role requires active partnership and engagement with Market Directors, Branch Leaders, Financial Advisors and their support staff. The Field Marketing Consultant also plays an important role in our regionally aligned Wealth Center - a team of functional experts that come together to elevate the business outcomes and client experience by partnering with our Financial Advisor Practices.

In partnership with the other Field Marketing Consultants and the full PWM Marketing team, fully embrace the “I Lead, We Own” mentality. We ALL support the growth of the PWM business through collaboration and celebrating team wins.

**As the Marketing Consultant, you will**:
- Lead and create strategic marketing plans (in collaboration with key partners such as Business Development Consultant, Branch Leader, Managing Directors, colleagues in PWM Marketing) for the Market/Region & Branch.-
- Manage and support the establishment of the branch budget and strategic planning with PWM Leadership and Finance.-
- Lead, support and guide Financial Advisor conversations toward a goal and growth-oriented mindset (in collaboration with the dedicated Wealth Center partners). Determine level of marketing maturity and create a strategic marketing plan or framework to help advance FA teams through the phases of growth and their own marketing maturity spectrum.-
- Consult with and provide marketing support for new Financial Advisors/teams to Baird.-
- Manage and efficiently handle the day-to-day interactions with the field to ensure their needs are being fully met. Determine and understand when to effectively delegate projects and tasks to other members on the PWM Marketing team.-
- Actively measure through quantitative and qualitative means recommended marketing strategies and tactics to understand what did and didn’t work, and refine recommendations accordingly.-
- Leverage the tools and technology available (Marketing On Demand, Digital Marketing HQ, ValueOne, CRM) with Branch Leaders and FAs as a part of your consulting approach to maximize efficiencies and promote best practices in how FAs can grow their business.-
- Identify opportunities and/or gaps for new tools and resources to fuel the Marketing on Demand platform and address Financial Advisor needs, usage and feedback.-
- Collaborate, create and share best practices and ideas around innovative marketing strategies for the field.-
- Lead and manage strategic projects and initiatives for the PWM business, as needed.**What makes this opportunity great**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communications field (Masters is a plus)-
- Eight plus years of marketing and communications experience within a financial or professional services environment; securities industry license (Series 66, 7) beneficial - not required.-
- Previous experience working with field sales representatives, clients, and/or Financial Advisors on marketing support is a plus.-
- Ability to handle Field objections and negotiate diplomatically, while maintaining positive field relations-
- Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service, with excellent people/communication skills.-
- Excellent marketing plan development and strong project management skills are a must.-
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment and with employees at all levels/areas of the firm-
- Ability to be highly influential using strong fact-based arguments without the benefit of positional power.-
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work independently.-
- Goal oriented - ability to maintain focus on a small number of long-term, high impact priorities.-
