**Cleaner - Ysgol Bryn Derw - 6 Month contract**

Newport Norse represents the highly successful joint venture between Norse Group and Newport City Council, providing contract cleaning services across the local area.

This position is being offered on a part time, fixed term contract working 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 15:15 - 18:15.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Cleaner for **Ysgol Bryn Derw** in Newport. It will be your responsibility to ensure the site is kept clean secure and maintained; undertaking several cleaning duties as required.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness. - mopping, hoovering, wiping down, emptying bins.
- Report any defects or issues to the Area Supervisor
- Ensure all health and safety is followed.
- Provide excellent customer service.

We will provide full training if you have not worked within the industry before, but ideally, we are looking for:

- Previous experience working in a cleaning, janitorial position.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations that are relevant to the post, including using relevant machinery and products.
- Ability to work autonomously, managing your own workload.
- Excellent communicator, comfortable engaging with members of the public and the client
