Overview of the role
To ensure quality is maintained throughout all processes to ensure effective, efficient, and safe processing and manufacturing of Unlicensed Specials Customer Orders
Main Responsibilities
- Formulates and recommends manufacturing policies, procedures and programs that enhance overall effectiveness of the operating unit
- Ensures efficient use of human resources, by regularly monitoring work activities, setting performance expectations, and measuring results, and providing feedback to employees daily
- Maintains focus on high safety performance, high quality performance, and high productivity performance
- Ensures equipment is ready for use before processing or cleaned or calibrated. Emphasis on efficient use and scheduling of shared use equipment
- Liaise with suppliers to order raw materials to ensure stock levels are maintained
- Assists in troubleshooting and problem-solving when process or personnel issues arise; ensures timely resolution
- Release unlicensed specials products for sale to customers
- Ensure to adhere to strict compliance GDP / GMP regulations
- Work with quality team on all relevant matters
- Ensure staff receive initial and continual training on required SOPs
- Assist with complaints, returns and recalls
- Liaise with various internal team members to ensure efficient manufacturing:
- Telesales Team
- Manufacturing Team
- Quality Team
- Logistics Team
- Liaise with customers for any quality issues
**Knowledge skills & experience**:
- GMP experience required; preferably more than 5 years and in an unlicensed environment
- Bachelor of Science degree
- Leadership/Managerial experience required
- Good level of IT/ skills required
- Good communication skills
- Good organisation skills
