**Your new role**
You will lead multiple teams to deliver a best in class Materials Planning and Control, with associated Logistics functions. You will drive parts availability for manufacturing, representing Materials Control at senior level through Planning stages, and alsowork with Business Transformation teams on design and implementation of process improvements. Please note that while there is some flexibility once settled in, this is primarily an onsite role.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You will be expert in Materials Control, and have experience in a similar leadership position within Automotive or similar sector (Engineering led manufacturing of high quality products, with OEM or 1st Tier experience an advantage). You will be commerciallyaware, and proven in your ability to improve availability while also maintaining close control of inventory, in a fast changing environment. You will be a positive and resilient character, able to motivate teams, and inspire individuals.
You will be highly collaborative, able to build relationships internally (with Quality, Purchasing, Production, Aftersales, NPD etc) and also with Suppliers.
You will be self motivated, and comfortable in a highly visible role.
