**We have a new and exciting opportunity for our brand-new role of Section Leader to join our Retail Management Team**

**What’s the role?**

We are looking for a Section Leader to lead and manage our outdoor departments and leading their team to deliver the exceptional.

**The Section Leaders daily role will include;**
- Leading the team, coaching and developing the outdoor team, working closely with their Assistant Section Leader.
- To oversee the day to day running of their Outdoor Retail Departments including our Sundries and Landscape Departments.
- Communicating with immediate team daily and actively cascading communication to the Department Leaders and teams.
- Working closely with our buying team to ensure we have market leading product ranges.
- Ensuring our customers receive world class service.
- Implementing new policies and processes in the department.
- Ensuring health and safety is adhered too.
- Making sure we have the WOW factor in our merchandising to drive sales.
- Working closely and in collaboration with our Retail and Logistics Manager

**Our ideal Section Leader will have the below skills and experience;**
- It's essential that you'll have at least 2 years of managing a retail department and a team, with the ability to drive sales and service.
- Working in a similar environment is desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a professional manner at all times.
- Strong time management skills.
- Flexible approach to changing circumstances with willingness to take on new tasks.

**Other details of the** **Section Leader**;
- The role is full time (42.5 hours) which includes evenings and alternate weekends.
- Salary from £26,000.00
- Permanent Contract.
