**Job Purpose**:
Key role within the business. Data analysis, control MRP order requirements, processing and stock control, ensuring the process runs smoothly meeting business and customer expectations. Build key relationships across all the company’s departments and be instrumental in the group's Purchasing processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the analysis of material requirements for associated suppliers whilst minimising stock levels.
- Supplier Management and Negotiation.
- Monitoring and managing stock levels.
- Cost savings.
- Projects.
- Identify risks in supply chain, report and mitigate.
- Onboarding of suppliers.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments.
- Stock level analysis and mitigation.
- AX / ERP knowledge and understanding.
- Ensure information in AX is correct and maintained.
- Review the MRP requirements.
- Placement and call off for purchase orders.
- Monitoring/following all orders through to completion. OTIF.
- Daily update on all relevant information belonging to all orders.
- Reporting all update information back to suppliers.
- Reacting to changes in customer demand.
- Dealing with any internal or external queries.
- Liaise with relevant departments re: obsolete/alternative stock usage.
- CTO process - manage and assist.
- New Business process - manage and assist.
- Resolve Invoice Queries.
- Resolve Warehouse discrepancies.
- Process Returns Forms.
- Process quotation requests.
- Liaising with suppliers.
- Issue forecasts to suppliers where applicable.
- Stopped/Obsolete Materials Management.
- Work in conjunction with Supply Manager on cost savings and projects.
- Ad hoc duties within the department.
- Attending trade shows/site visits where necessary.
- Supporting other departments activities where necessary.
- Cover colleagues where required.

**Internal/External Relationships**:
Procurement Team, Purchasing Team, Planning Team, Sales & Commercial Team Tender & Quotes Teams, Quality Department, Operations Teams, Marketing, Finance, Suppliers, Customers.

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Confident using IT systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good Negotiation Skills.
- Adaptive to change.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Effective relationship builder.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team player with a flexible approach and attitude.
- Able to build and maintain strong working relationships - both internally and externally.

**Education/Experience**:

- Experience of working within Procurement/Purchasing.
- Good standard of general education.
- CIPS qualified or working towards.

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
