Experienced Joiner

We are a leading home improvement company based in Chorley, Lancashire. Due to our fast growing workload, we have vacancies for two skilled joiners to join our expanding team.

**Job Summary**:
As an experienced joiner you will be working as part of a team installing various tasks from roof installations, internal house works, flooring etc. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in joinery techniques and the use of various power and hand tools.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install doors, windows, stud walls, create openings, build timber roof structures for extensions
- Measure and cut timbers to accurate sizes following drawings provided
- Install laminate and LVT flooring, skirting, window board
- Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and locks
- Install timber slabs for new build extensions to building regulation specifications
- Liaise with other tradespeople such as plumbers and electricians on projects
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and tidy work area

Have excellent communication skills and and a Friendly welcoming attitude towards clients

Qualifications:

- Full clean UK Driving licence
- Proven experience as a Joiner or similar role
- Proficient in joinery techniques and the use of power tools
- Knowledge of electrical systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work at heights (e.g. on roofs)

We offer excellent rates of pay and this could also be on a subcontract basis if preferred.

Pay: £21.00-£23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
