We are looking for a Gully Cleanse Operator, to join our Highway Maintenance team based at our depot in Wiltshire and working across the area.

Our Highways team keep communities moving. Join us to help construct and maintain Wiltshire Highways. This role is ideal for an experienced and skilled gully cleansing operator maintaining, cleaning and jetting gullies in Wiltshire, whilst also assisting with the out of hrs winter maintenance and emergency call out activities via a standby rota.

**You'll**:

- Lead a 2-person team maintaining, cleaning and jetting gullies
- Take responsibility for safety
- Plan works ahead
- Operate plant and equipment necessary for the operations
- Provide direction/supervision of the work to less experienced operatives
- Record the works on a tablet
- Record and manage change
- Undertake out of hours emergency call out works
- Undertake out of hrs winter maintenance driver duties

**We're looking for**:

- Clean driving License
- LGV Class C driving license
- Gully Cleansing Operator certification
- Responsibility, Self-motivation and Leadership skills
- Taking responsibility for manging Health and Safety
- Good communication skills and basic literacy and numeracy
- Ability to undertake a high level of manual work and work outdoors in all weathers
- Willingness to assist in out of hrs Winter Maintenance and Emergency Response duties
- Commitment to Customer Service

**Desirable**:

- New Roads and Street Works (NRSWA) Operative Accreditation
- CSCS Card
- Highways Operative experience
- Lantra 12 D
- Small tools training
- Gully Operator qualifications
- LGV licence
