**The Company**

REED Engineering are currently working with one of our long-standing Engineering clients who are specialists within the design and manufacture of bespoke industrial equipment for various sectors such as Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical and manymore

**The Role**

As Sheet Metal Worker, you will carry out sheet metal, punch programming, brake press operations within a production environment. You will receive ongoing support to develop and grow your skill set as you gain a greater understanding of the product range.

**Duties**:

- Conduct sheet metal and machining operations
- Be responsible for day-to-day maintenance and risk assessment of machinery and working area.
- Participate in the quality control processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement project
- Work to a high standard of manufacturing

**Hours of Work**:
37½ per week - Monday - Friday

2 shifts available to choose from

6am-2pm OR 10am-6pm

**Person Specification**
- Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Worker
- Able to read engineering drawings.
- Experience with CNC Nisshinbo punch and programming.
- Experience using a manual press brake machine.
- Experienced in manual drilling and tapping.
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude with good attention to detail.
- Problem solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Prioritise workloads.
