The home offers high-quality and compassionate residential and dementia care for up to 50 residents in a calm, friendly and comfortable surroundings
As the Head of Care your key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out initial assessment to potential residents, working in partnership with friends, family and advocates, guiding them through the process of admission
- Producing individual care plans with residents, families and care professionals
- Overseeing a residential household comprising of up to 43 residents
- Leading a team that provides excellence in care quality
- Running the home in the manager and deputy’s absence
- Supporting with recruitment of all roles
- Managing and leading a new team, including team building
- Ensuring the home meets all necessary regulations including CQC standards
An ideal Head of Care must have these experiences as they are beneficial for this position:
- Minimum 2 years full-time or equivalent work in a residential setting with older people at a supervisory level
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity within a care setting
The successful Head of Care will receive an excellent salary of £24,000 per annum. This exciting position is an 18 month maternity contract and you will be working Full Time 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
